Subject: Chris Coe at Kiveton FC Sheffield From: GUEST,Andy Date: 04 Apr 10 - 08:33 AM News for all South Yorks.folkies, Chris Coe will be performing at Kiveton Park Folk Club this coming Tuesday, 6th April. Chris has a folk pedigree stretching back to the late 60's and has always been one of the top female folk performers during that period. She is a highly respected ballad singer and instrumentalist, performing on hammered and Apallachian dulcimers and concertina. A veteran of many excellent outfits such as New Victory Band, Red Shift and Bandoggs, Chris has a performance record second to none. Come and see her at Kiveton on Tuesday. It will certainly be a memorable evening! Regards Andy |

Subject: RE: Chris Coe at Kiveton FC Sheffield From: GUEST,Ralphie Date: 05 Apr 10 - 03:00 AM Too far from London town for me. But, saw her in Guildford a while ago. Lovely! Would urge anyone adjacent to go along, and Andy, Give her a brotherly pat on the back (in a manly fashion) from a fellow Duettist! Ralph Jordan. |
Subject: RE: Chris Coe at Kiveton FC Sheffield From: GUEST,Andy Date: 05 Apr 10 - 03:07 PM Further news on Chris Coe appearing at Kiveton Park F.C tomorrow. I've found out from our bookings secretary that Chris will be appearing with her partner John Adams. Sorry for the slight cock-up, bit of a communication glitch! However, that's all to the good innit! See Chris AND John, another veteran performer of some note with a first class performance record including stints with Muckram Wakes, Ryburn 3 Step and The Old Swan Band. It's getting better all the time! All welcome to this feast of folk music. See yer there. Kick-off 8.30. Regards Andy |
