Brings back many fond memories of day-trips (The Choir Outing) to Weston-Super-Mare by steamer (by the Waverley and/or the Balmoral)

Sorry I can't help with the query though!

Although an annual 'tripper' on the PS Waverley for several years I'm sorry I can't help either.

However, here    is a useful site with some information about the Paddle Steamer Preservation Society and the members who forefronted the sucessful campaign to save her from the breakers - they may be able to help.
And, for those unfortunate enough never to have gone 'doon ra' watter' on board, a photo archive.

This Pye Records discography says SAVE, SAVE THE WAVERLEY was recorded by Glen Daly as a 45-rpm single, Pye 7N.45604, b/w TARTAN BALL, circa 1976.

There are actually a few vendors offering it for sale. This Google search should bring them up.
