Subject: RE: Maine Song Circle On Farm- April 30 From: GUEST,julia L Date: 02 May 10 - 11:08 PM Wonderful May revelry- and we even had FIRE! Those of you who left early missed the circle dancing round the conflagrating christmas wreath...yes, well it was the best we could do under the circumstances.. and it WAS easy to leap over without getting incinerated. Well done, gaels. there are plans for a summer solstice doodah up Damariscotta way at a friend's lakeside cabin. Will keep you posted cheers the noo J&F |
Subject: RE: Maine Song Circle On Farm- April 30 From: ranger1 Date: 03 May 10 - 07:06 AM My friend Michael thoroughly enjoyed himself. I think he may end up a permanent addition to the group. When he feels more comfortable, he may even sing. |
Subject: RE: Maine Song Circle On Farm- April 30 From: SINSULL Date: 03 May 10 - 10:24 AM As promised. FOUR WET PIGS (Greg Brown) Here's a little song about four wet pigs Here's a little song about four wet pigs Two of 'em little and two of 'em big They danced all night at the Pigtown Jig The two that were little were just half-grown The two that were big were big as a barn Big as a barn and tall as a tree Took 'em right down to the factory Slice 'em into bacon, chop 'em into ham Roll 'em into hot dogs, squeeze 'em into Spam* Throw their little eyes out in the rain Pickle their feet and scramble their brains Here's a little song about two wet pigs Standin' by the slop trough, smokin' their cigs Hopin' to God that they never get big They danced all night at the Pigtown Jig Copyright Greg Brown @animal filename[ WETPIGS |
