Britannia is on as usual this month - the pub closed for a couple of days a couple of months back, as the landlord had done a bunk, but it's now re-opened as normal on 3rd Friday.

I heard that the Britannia had closed. Has it re-opened?
I shall be in the area tomorrow (ie 3rd Friday) and wondered if there was anything happening.

A new monthly singaround will be starting on Monday, 26 April, at the Black Swan, 21 Loughborough Road, Shepshed, Loughborough, LE12 9DL (opposite the football ground), starting at 8:30 pm. The following one (in May) will be on Monday the 24th, and then on the LAST Monday in every month. All instruments and styles welcome. Note that this is in addition to the club at the Britannia, Shepshed, which continues to take place on the 3rd Friday of the month.
