Just seen on the news stands a banner on front page of the UK newspaper 'The Yorkshire Post' stating 'The Man Who Want to Save Morris Dancing From Going Extict' and a picture of someone from (I think) Harthill Morris. Don't get the paper myself but wonder if the article is any good or is it the usual piss take of dissing de Morris

It's a good article as you may expect from the Yorkshire Post, mainly about the new Squire of The Morris Ring Peter Halfpenny's mission to save and further this great English tradition, it concludes-
' Morris dancing is a celebration of all that's good about this country and surely that has to be something worth holding on to. '

I'm glad to hear Pete's the new Squire. He's a great guy. I'll try and find the article tomorrow.
