Hi Sunray, I think Lucy has had a lot on her plate recently. How about coming along and joining the fun anyway, this really is a lovely little festival!!!

Oh Christine, our loss is Chippenham's gain, we'll miss you!

Hamish, have you got your Ginger Wine sorted yet? I only have the one bottle.... New (ish) van has now been 'run in' with genteel 'chort & peese' parties, I nearly know where the fridge is now!

Guess it might be a bit early for chocolate at the MudGather (Monday 10.30am), hope you'll all come along anyway *grin*

Hope to drop in sometime over the weekend but I have Jon's cousins from Canada staying with me as well as his cousins from Dorset and his late uncle's partner fron London as well so won't be staying overnight [Can't fit us all in my little camper van]. They want to see a bit of tradition while they are here so thought we might try Hunting of the Earl Of Rhone on Monday afternoon and evening and Wolf's Head and Vixen should scare them silly!!!!

Only five weeks until the most wonderful 4th Bude & Stratton Folk Festival: 28-31 May 2010. In a beautiful setting, with lots of marvellous people, it's got to be one of the friendliest festivals ever. With an unbeatable combination of singarounds and concerts, plus a ceilidh and workshops (including [ahem!] a ukulele thrash on Saturday early afternoon) ...and my personal highlight, the Sunday lunchtime shanty sing.

Programme to be published shortly, but a sneak preview suggests Les Sullivan, James Findlay, Barrie & Ingrid Temple, Andrew McKay & Carole Etherton, Suntrap, Ned & Dame Patti ...and a Mudgather on Monday.

Be there! You'll thank me for the hint: Bude & Stratton Folk Festival 2010
