Subject: Origins: Silly Question: Battle Moses From: Richie Date: 26 Apr 10 - 11:20 PM In the Wolf Collection there's a song called "Battle Moses" sung by Jimmie Driftwood. It's really "Little Moses" and the lyrics scan directly to the Carter Family so... Should I enter this in my A-B tradition and PD gospel songs? Obviously the title is a mishearing... What would you do? I don't know if I should perpetuate this or correct it- lol. Richie |
