Subject: Tech: MacBook Pro Battery problems From: chordstrangler Date: 01 May 10 - 10:24 AM Incline unto my aid all you technical wizards of a musical bent. I have lately been experiencing problems with my MacBook Pro - a two year old 15 inch model. It works perfectly normal on mains power but for some inexplicable reason, when running on battery power it keeps shutting down despite the fact that the battery indicator shows that there is three quarter charge remaining. Pressing the button on the battery casing appears to confirm that the battery is in fact almost fully charged -most of the indicator lights suggest that all is well. Have any of you out there experienced similar problems ? If so, I would be very grateful for any advice or guidance. Thanks in advance...CS |
