reminder...invite...one year we had mudcats from all directions..100 miles in either direction....Redding, Tahoe, Sacramento, Santa Rosa!!

i just usually bring a couple dozen huge tortilla "wraps"
with beans, rice, cheese, salsa, avocados, sour cream, and celantro

with a griddle...i used to have a small camp stove/oven from a trailer
or camper that i would bring to camp...pizzas in the wilderness are a good thing!@! alas, it is no more, but a solar oven would be a great
thing!!

This new location is a bit less remote than our previous campground.
It will be just about 1 1/2 hours north of Sacramento.

It is that time of year again and I am making plans for the Butte Folk Music Society overnight jam and pot luck. Our regular rustic site was not available this year, so the new location will be at a place with even more modern conveniences, such as hot running water, flush toilets
and paved roads. We might find that this is a good change compared to pit toilets!!

The event takes place from Noon Sat. June 5 to noon Sun. June 6, 2010
at the Limesaddle Campground in the Lake Oroville State Recreation Area about 4 miles south of the town of Paradise, CA. It is about 5 miles east of hiway 99 off of the Pentz rd. exit and about 5 miles north of hiway 70 also on the Pentz rd. The road to the campground is .7 miles north of the Limesaddle Marina and this is part of the
California State Park

(one road is actually called Durham-Pentz rd and runs east to west
and the other is Pentz Magalia Rd which goes north/south)
