Ken Darby wrote many songs, including those sung by Elvis Presley in his first film, "Love Me Tender." (The songs are credited to Elvis and Darby's wife, Vera Matson, but Darby was the true culprit).

The song "Love Me Tender," was, of course, based on the Civil War tune "Aura Lee." Another song from the soundtrack, "We're Gonna Move," was based on the older "There's A Leak In This Old Building." But what about the remaining two songs: "Let Me" and "Poor Boy"? Did Darby also use folk tunes as the basis for these?
