Subject: Camden Folk Crawl? From: Les in Chorlton Date: 04 May 10 - 02:10 PM The Camden Crawl seems to be an agreement between pubs and other venues in Camden to put on loads of gigs and other events involving "modern beat combos". Have I got this right? Has anybody enyoyed this and has anybody thought about a folk equivalent. I know it's really another form of festival but it does look good fun L in C# |

From: matt milton Date: 05 May 10 - 06:33 AM This year's Camden Crawl actually had a slightly folk-ish subsection, which was programmed by Trevor Moss and Hannah Lou of the Lantern Society night. I wouldn't call it traditional folk exactly. In a sense, there are already folk equivalents of the Camden Crawl - it's basically the same principle as Sidmouth: a multi-venue, multi-day festival. |
