Subject: Brit Folk Group to States Fall 2011 From: Tradsinger Date: 05 May 10 - 05:29 PM Hi y'all. Our trio Davies-Brenchley-Davies is hoping to tour the States in Fall 2011. You can read about us here including some sound clips and access to videos. We have already carried out 2 successful US tours, in the VA, MD, PA and NY areas and in 2011 we are hoping to head further north, so we are talking about NY (State), CT and MA or beyond. We play keyboard, melodeon, concertina, banjo and fiddle and sometime pipe and tabor. The core of our reportoire is English trad but we do a lot of French tunes, plus American ballads, Welsh, Irish and Spanish. We are looking for festivals, concert venues, coffee bars, house concerts etc so if anyone can suggest any venues, websites, contacts etc, we would be very grateful. Tradsinger |
