hahaha I had a Eurogathering Mudcat here in Iceland , this last weekend
and I took them up to the volcano , I think they have pissed it off again , because its growing again the power ....the ash goes now up to 10 km high ...sadly .... I am getting tired of this ..
and its not over , new magma is coming up with earthquakes and
they don´t know where it will come up ..:O/ , but I hope you have great fun with Mandy and Creena I wish I could come and listen ...
if you ever want to have an Icelandic band over ( our Rose )
we are here . :O) We play all kinds of folk music , Norway ( Hardangerfiddle ) Irish , Icelandic , Scotish , English , US ,
Swedish . Canada .. but we do some Scandinavian Program (
Norway , Iceland , Sweden Danish , Finland , and soon some from Foreyjar Island .

I hope mother nature will stopp poving soon :O)

all the best Skarpi

This volcano has definitely got British traditional music in its sights. Someone who should have been at one of Shirley Collins's singing workshops a couple of weeks ago was confined to India by its activities. Volcanic ash has also interfered with the migration of Harveys bar towels from Portugal to Lewes; a severe blow, because I need to make another bar towel coat for the concertina band.

Royal Oak,
Station Street,
Lewes

The cloud of volcanic ash has caused the cancellation of the flight that ÉAMONN Ó BRÓITHE was taking to perform for us this evening.
We are delighted that we have another all-Ireland champion musician, MANDY MURRAY living in our area and she has agreed to appear as a replacement.
Just as Éamonn was scheduled to do, Mandy will be appearing with the superb Irish singer, CREENA MULCHRONE.
