Subject: RE: want lyrics:Giovanni Montini the Pope From: LaMarca Date: 09 Apr 97 - 11:13 AM It's been recorded by Pat Sky on one of his really old albums; I think he may have written it, too. We don't have the album ourselves; maybe someone else out there can dig up the lyrics to this one. My husband likes singing the pieces he remembers, such as:
"His name is Giovanni Montini, I'd love to get the words to the whole thing, too. |
Subject: RE: want lyrics:Giovanni Montini the Pope From: Date: 09 Apr 97 - 12:38 PM Hi- A message of cheer fpr all of you who want the words: It's in the database.Mike Hunt wrote it. AND, when you go the the database page, please notice that we have a new sponsor—Camsco Music, operated by Wally Macnow. Camsco's a great source for hard-to-find traditional music, and Wally's not only extremely knowledgeble, but also a very nice guy. Visit them. And maybe buy a CD or two. It would not only help Camsco, but would also help us. Plus you're apt to get a fine recording. |
