The Copper family are performing for Christian Aid in Rottingdean, Sussex, UK on Friday 21st. May; tickets are £10 and details are on the Coppersongs website.

I mention this because the organisers don't seem to have publicised it much outside the village. Many thanks to Justin Hopper for pointing it out; it takes a visiting American to notice these things.

The following day, Joe Penland leads an all-day workshop on North Carolina songs & social history at the Lewes Saturday Folk Club. Full details of the workshop are here and Joe performs at the club in the evening. He's coming to the Coppers' concert, too.
