Hi,

I though I'd share more of my research. I'm working mainly on the C gospel songs. This one is "Climbing Up Zion's Hill"

Comments? Corrections welcome.

Please help with new versions and info,

TY

Richie

Here's another interesting version from an Indian named Wellborn Waters:

Suggestive of "We are climbing the hills of Zion," 1874, Jubilee Singers, but that is a simpler song (....climbing...with Jesus in our souls, then a verse about "do get ready"). Not the same.
