Subject: Songs by Proclaimers From: Paul Date: 16 Dec 98 - 10:24 AM I'm looking for two songs by a couple of Irish or British brothers. They had a fairly popular record in about '89 or '90. The big bar hit off the album was "500 Miles". But I'm looking for "Oh Jean" and "It's Saturday Night". Any help would be appreciated. |
Subject: Lyr Add: IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT (The Proclaimers) From: Brack& Date: 16 Dec 98 - 11:12 AM IT'S SATURDAY NIGHT (The Proclaimers) It's Saturday night, I'm feeling on song I think I'm alright, I know I'm all wrong The drink that I had three hours ago Has been joined by fourteen others In a steady flow So let me walk straight, don't let me feel pain I'm gonna scratch cars with my keys again Cos when I go home and fall on my bed If it doesn't leave my stomach it'll split my head The Proclaimers |
Subject: Lyr Add: OH JEAN (The Proclaimers) From: Brack& Date: 16 Dec 98 - 11:19 AM OH JEAN (The Proclaimers) I'd never been lucky with girls I confess Don't know who to blame for my lack of success Cause even with ones up the back of a bus There was always the risk of a slap in the puss But Jean, oh Jean ou let me get lucky with you The first time I met you it did cross my mind The next time I saw you there wasn't the time The third time I saw you I thought that I would The fourth time I met you I knew that I could But Jean, you let me get lucky with you I love her I want you forever I want you for good So I'm gonna treat you the way that I should For your sould and body my heart's gonna pound Even after the day that I'm laid in the ground Cause Jean you let me get lucky with you Love her I love her These can all be found on The International Lyric Server. You will find them if you click on LINKS. Regards Mick Bracken |
