Hi Willa, yes I agree re Linda, that's made my day about our set, thank you very much! :-) Did we speak, btw? Everyone seemed really friendly.

Hi Helen.

Thoroughly enjoyed your set. Yet another of Linda's great bookings. We're very lucky to have her!

Well we loved having you Helen, you provided us with some first class entertainment and your songs were original and memorable. Thanks so much for taking the time to come over. It was a lovely night and Helian Keys and Better Late were both superb.

I like many club organisers have a long list of people who want to come to the club and I am genuinely booked for the forseeable future and beyond. Ihave to work on the basis of dont contact me I will contact you because budgets etc are very tight -but I do get to a lot of festivals and clubs so I hopefully am aware of the talent that is around. We do have singers and musicians nights to which everyone is welcome.

I really am not sure but think they get fairly booked up, Dáithí but I would look on past Cottingham threads and contact Linda to ask. I know they are fairly well booked up. We were just impressed with the lovely atmosphere, nice venue, good sound and friendly crowd there. I just wanted to say thank you to them as we are all quick to criticise places but less inclined to praise, where it is due.

What's the set up there then, Rockhen?
Although i'm based near Market Rasen I'm in Hull quite a lot, and it's not too far for my group (Gone to the Dogs - we play mainly trad irish n some old faves) to travel.
Would there be risk of a gig at some time there do you think?
Best wishes
Dáithí

Just wanted to thank all those at Cottingham Live this evening. What a lovely welcoming venue. Will definitely try to get along again to hear a few more people. Although it was nearly 40 miles there, for us, we had a brill time as support and felt really at ease. It was definitely worth it.
Lovely to hear the great harmonies of Hissyfit again, that second song sounded particularly complicated to sing and you did a marvellous performance... your MC was brilliant, too, so funny! Also, it was nice to hear Better Late for the first time. Some smashing songs. Thanks to all...you should be proud of the work you put in to make it such a cracking place to visit. Thank you :-)x
To anyone near Cottingham, Hull, Yorks UK...who hasn't been...give it a go! I don't think you will be disappointed.
