Subject: RE: Fishermans who? From: Herga Kitty Date: 24 May 10 - 07:22 PM According to the blurb on the packets, IIRC, the "cough drops" were lozenges "specially formulated for deep sea fisherman working in Icelandic conditions" - confirmed by the Direct Chemist site here . I think the Icelandic conditions at the time referred to climate, and any banks were fishing grounds, not financial institutions. I always wondered why the lozenges were sold in paper (not very waterproof) packets? Kitty |

Subject: RE: Fishermans who? From: Tattie Bogle Date: 04 Jul 10 - 08:50 AM You're not supposed to put them in your beer! Or was that some chemical experiment to see if it would make you high? Pecs or man-boobs?? |
