Get another CD done just in case. I couldn't buy anything on Saturday night as I'd already got them all. But it was definitely a wonderful evening and a definitive experience. Never mind 50, any excuse for another one.

Hope I'm still here for a 50th and as to whether I still have a voice...

It was a stunningly great night.

Missed the Bill Whalley/Dave Fletcher ensemble at Faldingworth a few weeks back by being inconveniently ill.

I was also able to thank John Conolly (once Dave F had identified him for us) for putting me in touch with Bill Meek, thus satisfying my 'need' for the lyrics to Harry Tate's Navy.

Thanks one and all, never seen the 'Lincolnshire virgins' (aka Threlfalls) before, but would go out of my way to see them again. Beautiful singing coupled with surreal humour (and a bar), what more could you ask for??

Here's to the 50th year bash . . .

Many thanks to all those who attended the sell out night last Saturday despite the clash with Southwell FF and the footie and managed to find their way to a little village in Lincolnshire
A great way to celebrate with so many friends

Not long to go and a few tickets still available - with folks coming from as far afield as Norwich, Guisborough, Preston and Bristol will Lincolnshire cope with the influx?

Thanks very much - we try to do our bit and hope that people at least now know where Lincolnshire is!

Have a great evening and congrats on the milestones - hope they are less painful than gallstones!

You are excellent ambassadors for the backwoods that are Lincolnshire.

To celebrate various milestone(!) birthdays and the fact they have been ssinging together in one form or another for 40 years(and it don't seem a day too much) Bill and Dave are in concert with Martyn Wyndham Read & Iris Bishop and Trio Threlfall on 12th June 2010 at Swineshead Village Hall in Lincolnshire. Tickets are limited and full details can be found in a poster on their website
