Simply amazing! And over in this cabinet you will see...!

I especially like the capo made of heavy wood with the dowel tighteners. Using that you'll never fret again!

I don't like the saw for shortening the neck.

He mentions that he is looking for a velcro closed capo - I have seen them for guitars, but I don't play guitar...

How did it never occur to me to put a capo on my fiddle?! Not sure I want to be chewing on matchsticks though...

Thanks for posting this. I had a few moments of nostalgia on recognizing some capos of my past that I hadn't thought of in years, and also especially enjoyed seeing the antique capos.

I really liked the Poor Boy Capos section - especially the The Poor Boy 5:th String Capo.

I don't think your link above goes to the intended website but was hijacked by aliens.

And NO sign of the Banjo Fifth String Capo that I make for myself ! Uses a Carton Staple and a rubber band ! Takes about five minutes to make , and costs Nowt !!

I don't know what disturbs me more - that a site like this exists or that I have already learned some useful tips from it.

I didn't LOOK for it, the link came in an ad
I once saw at St.Chartier festival a Hurdy Gurdy with built in capo but have no idea now which luthier made it. Anyone know?
(Museum site owner asks for any other examples of capos inc built-in.)

A mind-boggling concept, Dan. First you extend the body and put on 12 frets.....Then you find a 12" capo..... Then you find strings.....
Please post a photo if you even try!
Did you see the chording capos? Much like an Autoharp wotsit. Bar? Key?
