Lady Hillary and I are also on the schedule to run the Sea Chantey set at the Circle of Song, both Saturday and Sunday at 11AM.

Having compared the performers' roster from the 1979 festival, we have changed a lot. Many of the people from that era are no longer with us. While the purists will complain that the festival is not "pure," most of the performers have folk roots and give good sets. The big difference is that many of the performers have learned that you have to "sell soap" to make a living.

Lady Hillary and I are as usual in charge of the Working Waterfront area and will usually be found there.

This year's Clearwater Festival will be held on June 19 & 20 at Croton Point Park in Croton-on-Hudson in Westchester. Over 250 musicians will appear on 7 bio-diesel powered stages including Pete Seeger, Steve Earle, Shawn Colvin, David Bromberg, Keller Williams, Joan Osborne, Railroad Earth, Donna the Buffalo, Buckwheat Zydeco, The Subdudes, Lucy Kaplansky, Eileen Ivers, Dan Bern, Sara Watins (Nickel Creek), and many more.
