Living the Tradition – Keeping it Live!
Join Andrew and Margaret Watchorn for a second series of summer concerts and workshops in north Northumberland to celebrate the music of the area.

CONCERTS
Thursday 8 July 7.30pm. Holy Trinity Church, Embleton
Friday 30 July 7.30pm. St. Lawrence's Church, Warkworth
Thursday 19 August 7.30pm. St. Mary's Church, Newton
Friday 3 September 6.00pm. St. Cuthbert's Centre, Holy Island
Admission to concerts: £5 (children under 12 free)


WORKSHOPS
Thursday 8 July 2.00 – 4.00pm. Parish Church Room, Embleton
Friday 30 July 2.00 – 4.00pm. St. Lawrence's Church, Warkworth
Friday 3 September 2.00 – 4.00pm. St. Cuthbert's Centre, Holy Island
These workshops are for players of any melody instruments in concert pitch. Learn some old and new tunes from the new tunebook, Sweet and Salt Water, and maybe try out some dance steps and songs to go with them. If you'd like to, stay for the evening concert and perform a set of tunes with us!
Saturday 14 August 2.00 – 4.00pm. Parish Church Room, Embleton
By request, a similar workshop specially for players of
Northumbrian smallpipes in F pitch.

Free refreshments available at all workshops. Cost: £5 per session.
Places limited - please book in advance

SWEET AND SALT WATER
A collection of old and new tunes for Northumbrian smallpipes, fiddles and other instruments. 52 tunes with harmonies by Margaret Watchorn, available mid June. Price £10 plus postage and packing.

Thanks for that - we're on holiday in Warkworth from 21st August to 4th September so may pop across to Holy Island.
