Some great music streaming from the Telluride Bluegrass Festival this evening. Allison Krause and Union Station up next followed by Tim O'Brien with band. Recorded music and interviews between sets. Check it out at http://www.koto.org/

Ok, as soon as I posted that they announced Allison Krause's set would not be streamed (drat), but that Tim O'Brien will be live at 10:30 Telluride time.

Thanks for the link. Might check it out tomorrow and through the weekend. I was there for the first one,by happenstance, but didn't know beans enough to realise what it would become!:-)

Yeah, saw this the other day and enjoyed listening from the UK to Sarah Jarosz and to Dave Rawlings & Gillian Welch. Being big AKUS fans we set our alarm clock for 3am this morning to listen to their set, only to find that they would not be streaming that - what's that all about? Too big for it now? If that was the case they should have made clear on the streaming announcements that AKUS would not be participating.

Yours grumpily....

PS Still looking forward to trying to catch some more over the weekend though.

I was disappointed that AKUS weren't streamed, too. I suspect there were lawyers involved. I listened to a killer bluegrass set by the Del McCroury Band and the late set by Tim O'Brien, one of my personal favorites. Worked for a living today so haven't been able to listen, but plan to catch some more over the weekend. The big finale with the all-star band sounds like something that shouldn't be missed.

To be fair, I emailed KOTO (the radio station) and got a very nice reply from the lady there saying that they would add a message to their front page stating which artists would NOT be streamed each day. I love Tim O'Brien but was asleep when he was on. Heard a great set by Hot Rize last night though.

Jerry Douglas on today about 12:45 (7:45pm UK time).

Online streaming of TBF
