Does anyone know where I can find a recording of "Bug Squishing Party?" (I think that's the title)

Jeff Warner sang it for some of us at Mystic this year, and I got the impression he has recorded it, but I don't know any more than that.

"...Come on over, we'll have a bug-squishing party tonight..."

There is a verse about Japanese Beetles, and one about slugs.

Hopefully, someone knows what I'm talking about! I won't see Jeff until next summer, most likely, and I'd love to hear the song again before then...

I know them bugs!

Check out the MacArthur family's CD. The song was written by Margaret's son, Dan. "Yucky Bugs" is #5 on the CD "MacArthur Road" --Front Hall Records. Or check with Margaret MacArthur.

Yuck Squish!

To Nancy Jean's info. I'll add that the whole "MacArthur Road" CD is a real treat -- not just because it includes "Yucky Bugs". Margaret's newest CD, "Them Stars" also has some terrific songs. Oops. Better stop. This thread is creeping -- kinda like them bugs. Kathy

My email addy is marckimr@aol.com

Thank you so much!

Every time I read this thread I think: what a great theme for a pre-Millenium new year's eve party.

Pelrad, I e-mailed your messages to Jeff. Linn asked him about the song at the session, but she's on vacation and hasn't been around a computer recently.

I produced a song called "Bug-Squashing Party" by Dan MacArthur with Canadian kids artists "Rick and Judy" some years ago. It could be the song you're looking for...or not. You can get more information by calling Rick Avery and/or Judy Greenhill at (519) 763 2494
