Saw them at Ashover this weekend, pretty good stuff. I'd describe them as Mawkin (before Causley) meets Gong. Lots of East European, Gypsy & Klesma.

I went to this gig last night. Small but highly select audience. They were much better than even I expected. Please do go and see them at Ashover if it is remotely possible.

Sorry that last guest was me!! The band were playing in the pub last night. Brilliant musicians and people who were not remotely interested in folk music thought they were great. Those into folk music were gobsmacked.

Three/possibly four are playing on my show between about 10.15 and 10.45 am this Friday. They have their first ever UK gig Thursday night - Underbank Chapel Schoolroom, Stannington, which is North -West Sheffield. 7.30 pm.
