This guy was the original "Kinks" bass player who played on all their 60's hits includin' "You Really Got Me", "Tired of Waiting" abd "All Day and All of the Night"... I have heard from elsewhere that a lot of the instruments in those days were played by session men because it was quicker and cheaper. I shall look up the obituaries to see if there is anything about what he did with his life after his time with the Kinks. He was certainly part of a very exciting era. |
