Few guitarists transcend genre and style, but Brooks Williams has made a career of it. His music is a fearlessly evolving melange of intricate blues-soaked finger-style guitar and soulful singing. He defies categorisation. Brooks Williams is blessed with multiple talents, merging acoustic guitar wizardry with the singer-songwriter tradition and has been hailed as "an acoustic guitar god" a "one man wonder" and the "Angel of Soul". "A consummate artist, Williams ranks among America's musical treasures." (Dirty Linen)

Live at The Cross Kings, 126 York Way, Islington (a ten mins walk from Kings Cross Station or a minute or so on the bus), see www.folkonmonday.co.uk for more details

I had the pleasure of working with Brooks last winter in California. he is amazing. Go see him perform if you can.

Dirty Linen may have been a little over the top, but Brook Williams is a true triple threat: a great guitarist; a vocalist with a warm smooth voice; and a fine songwriter. He is worth your time and money to go see.

Just a reminder for anyone in the London area for Brooks tonight, only a few minutes from Kings Cross.
