The following is a link to all the 'ideas' with the words 'live music'.

I have posted threads on Chiff & Fipple and Ukulele Underground forums with links to the gov pages mentioned here. Also spreading the word via Facebook.

This has got to be worth a few minutes of anyone's time, innit?

I am not too impressed by the site, though, but I suppose it was done in a hurry. I cannot find how to assign existing tags, and even the list shown gives only the first few. I presume that the multiple copies of the same message were caused because of the site failures.

I hope that it can be enhanced in due course.

The site's now reasonably clear and you can log in and vote. They've got a couple of things wrong (e.g. the Highest Rated should only include things with over 10 or 20 votes as it's currently loaded with ideas having 1 or 2 votes, all 5s) but hopefully they'll sort that one out soon.

Appears they were astounded by the level of interest.

Please now go on and leave comments.

:-)

Yes, I am getting in now, but honestly there was a message that the threads had been closed because too many people wanted them!

I think you are seeing conspiracy where there isn't, Richard. I have tried getting access to the site through various routes and have found the whole site is incredibly slow - even at 12.30 in the morning. I think the more likely explanation is the usual cock up - the servers are inadequate for the traffic.

I shall try again later.

As I write that thread has been blocked because too many people were commenting. Conservatives and civil liberty are contradictions in terms.

Actually, Pavane, both yours and mine are useful as yours is in the Civil Rights section and mine is in the Repeal Unneccessary Laws section ... so GO!

Why start a separate one? Two threads are better than one? Unlike Mudcat, they aren't cvross-referenced at all.

This site has been set up by the government to ask what laws should be repealed or changed. I have posted a comment on the Licencing laws - hope I got the facts right!

Her is my posting in case you want to add a comment.
