There is usually one at the Wickham - we went last year in the afternoon but unfortunately there were two going on at the same time and a melodeon player halfway bewteen so it was a cacophony - hopefully it will be better this year

I probably blotted my copy book at Cleck by spending too much time on main stage when I was only booked to do a workshop (Nice to have Mates who Invite) but back then there seemed to be more sesions than you could throw a stick at ! Glad to see The Wickham still has one -
What happened to the Commercial ?

I'm certainly not getting any impression of what was going on. Is this entire thread encrypted?

Actually, one of my good friends Jim Saville played some kind of role in this festival and I'd be very interested in hearing more.

Cheerily,
Charley Noble

"Impresion of what was going on"? Well I'll tell you lot's of people managed to download some Exhalant Beer in the Wickham over weekend continuing into the early hours. The efforts of some totaly encrypted thier Speach however their singing and playing remain unefected "Once they found the key!"

Actually Charlie it was a cracking festival-Jim was much in evidence with a poetry session and being a general good egg on the Artistes desk. Kimber's men The younguns and Hissyfit kept the maritime stuff going and the singarounds were excellent. We even got to do a bit of singing together!!! Kimbers on one side, The Younguns on the other - Every woman's dream date!!!!

Thanks to all who came and saw and enjoyed. Sorry to those who regrettably had to miss the event, it was absolutly brilliant if I say so myself. There was lots to do, lots to see and lots to enjoy. We thought we got it right for most people - and the general feedback was fantastic. Looking forward to 2011 already!!!!

Yes Skipy and Mrs Skipy both sang and it was a b good weekend - I think I might have been a bit drunk on Saturday evening but did manage to keep going until 1am. Thanks to the organisers for a great weekend
