Take look. This is excellent stuff. W.C. Fields crosses with Don Edwards and you get Slim.

Don

Barnacle Bill the Sailor. (Added by el joe clone:-)

I've known Sourdough for almost thirty years and it makes me proud to see this old friend of mine enjoying such success.

Oops. Sourdough was in a band in Chico, CA called 8th Ave. String Band. I was in a band in Redding at the same time and we all used to play the same festivals. Open Mike was around back in those days as well. It was the late 70s, the 80s, and 90s.

So yeah. 30 years.

Deb

We've had him here in Toledo,Oregon three times and he's great. plays accordion, harmonica , guitar and now he works with a slide guitar player who also plays a great "saw"/////// go get em Rick.....Frank of Toledo;;;;;(his version of Barnacle Bill is a classic!

He sure sings a lot of songs my dad used to, too. Pretty neat to hear them, again, though of course my dad's versions are still my favourites.:-) It IS neat to see him get such recognition. Thanks for letting us know, Don.

He yodels, too. And then he yodels some more....and he's good at it.

I don't know where he lives, but it must be somewhere around Sacramento, because he performs in this area all the time - and he's always fun to see.

that saw player is probably Robert Armstrong...Sourdough lives in Paradise...
