Guild m20

I bought an American made Guild m20 (reissue one) in the 90s. Paid about a £1000 for it at the time. However, i see them new now for half that. Are they the same or are the new ones made cheaply somewhere else?

The M-20 ( Mahogany 00 Guild Guitar) and the GAD M - 20 are two different fish. The GAD guitars are made in China and are iffy. The good ones are great and the not so good are not so good. The M-20 made in Westerly, Conn is a fine short scale ( 24 3/4")guitar with a great history.
