Subject: Training for workshop leaders From: Ruth Archer Date: 10 Jul 10 - 08:03 AM Passing it on Folk South West, working in partnership with Music Leader South West, Arts Council England and Sidmouth FolkWeek, is running a training programme during this year's Festival. If you want to develop your skills as a workshop leader, this is the programme for you. You will be able to shadow Festival workshop leaders as well as having networking opportunities and additional daily training sessions. These include: •how people learn •how to structure workshop sessions and communicate in the best way •how to set yourself up in business using a variety of free software •how to market yourself and earn a living from music Places are limited so please get in touch with Folk South West as soon as possible if you would like to be involved.
