Any suggestions.. I am coming back from Whitby to Cornwall on Bank Holiday Saturday [ silly, I know] and have decided to stop over somewhere on the way back. Does anyone know of a small ish festival with lots of singing that might be on? Thought about Shrewsbury and Towersey but I don't want a big festival and only want a day with an overnight stop.

Depends on your taste in music. Check online for Upton on Severn music wkend. They appear to be doing something then.
Also a victorian a festival in llandrindod wells which is where I'll be. That's not musical tho, but I've arranged a session for the tuesday before in the llanerch inn.

There is a really cool website which is posting all the festivals and events in Europe, there are some like that around, but on this one you can give your specific date range and location and will give you so many events nearby. I wish I knew this website before I went on my summer holiday, but surely i'll use it for the next long weekend planning. Joobili festivals
