Amazing how he contributed to songs of the fifties right up to
recent years.

One of the true greats of Nashville. I saw a wonderful program one night with a group of Nashville songwriters sitting around and talking about their songs and the background to them. Hank and Harlan Howard were both really funny and enjoyable. He had a great run.
