I agree with Alice that Joe Heany's your best source. Other recordings include Altan and Seoirse O Dochartaigh & J Pinder. If you want to search for ABCs, audial files, etc on the web, remember that the instrumental version is sometimes titled in English The Hag With the Money.

Those links aren't working for me, but you can get to Liam Hart's website click on 'enter the archive' at the bottom of the page, and find Cailleach an Airgid among the songs listed.

Mick, try the Casadh an tSugain thread/s at Mudcat. compare the assorted lyrics with what the Bothy Band sings and you should come up with something usable. Now, what favour can I get you to do for me (pay my phone bill?)? Go n-éirí an t-adh agus an t-amhrán leat.
