Would anyone know the words to the theme song to the old T.V. Western called "Rawhide"? I have a few phrases that keep intruding on my mind.

There was a bra named after that song. It was so named because of its ability to 'round 'em and head 'em out'!

Oh My!! Every once in a while (well about every week) the woman who helps me out with prep in the kitchen starts humming something gawdawful and completely addictive, and today it was RAWHIDE!! Neither of us knew enough lyrics to go anywhere with it. I'm not sure if this thread is a help or not, but I certainly will get all of those lyrics to her.

Alison, great work! Holy cow, it's been a long time since I've seen "calculatin" rhymed with "waitin", let alone "Movin" with "disaprovin"! Boy those Hollywood guys sure could right a cowboy song. Susan's right though. I've started hummin' the damn thing.

Ye', it's been right up there with Up with People, I Can See Clearly Now the Rain is gone, Love Potion Number Nine, Wild Thing, and Bus Stop. All of those songs where knowing the lyrics (which I don't ) really doesbn't help if it gets stuckin there. Ah well.

I have a 45 parody of "Rawhide" by a group called the Hula Poppers. It is called "Walleye". I will have to dig out the record and transcribe the lyrics. For those who haven't already guessed it does contain the line "Trollin', trollin', trollin', Walleye!"
