Trouble is, jazz musicians know that happens, so once in a while they blast out something really loud & jarring, like one trumpet playing B while the other plays B-flat. |

A nice relaxing bath with Pink Floyd playing Atronome Domine is just right after a hard day's DIY! |

Subject: RE: Singers or songs that sent you to sleep From: GUEST,Fiddler Date: 27 Jul 10 - 06:16 AM I actually find that the better the music the more likely I am to doze off - I once told this to an artist in whose set I offended and I think he thought I was just trying to apologise for being bored - but if you are totally immersed in music everything else disappears, including consciousness! |
Subject: RE: Singers or songs that sent you to sleep From: Leadfingers Date: 27 Jul 10 - 05:54 AM One time at Ely Festival I went to sleep in the middle of a Bernard Wrigley set ! - Nothing to do with Bernard , It was Saturday morning and I had spent the previous week helping my bro drop the Bedroom ceilings to make the attic high enough to use ! I was KNACKERED . |

Nice mellow voice, pleasant but all very similarly paced songs and i'm slipping away. I find watching David Attenborough on the box has the same effect.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Cheers Les |
