Subject: BS: Singer available From: Hodge Date: 29 Jul 10 - 08:35 AM I'm not sure if theis is an appropriate use of Mudcat but I'm sure someone will put me right if I'm in error. I need at least one singer and musician to form a harmony group. I sing mostly traditional songs with carefully selected items from modern writers plus one of two self-penned tunes to existing poems. If you live close enough to North Worcestershire, have some musical ability, a good voice and the time and ambition to work hard at putting a decent repertoire together with a view to folk club and festival bookings, I'd be interested in hearing from you. I have recently retired and so have plenty of time during the day and evenings. |
Subject: RE: BS: Singer available From: Noreen Date: 29 Jul 10 - 09:59 AM Nothing wrong with this thread as far as I can see. Only prob is that, with this being an international forum, location in the title would help. I am sure a helpful elf will be along to sort that out :) |
Subject: RE: BS: Singer available From: Crow Sister (off with the fairies) Date: 29 Jul 10 - 10:10 AM This prolly aughta be in the Music section, especially as the UK folkies tend to hang around up there more than they do than down here. I'd be inclined to make it clear in the title that you are *seeking* an/other harmony singer/s too. |
