Michael Hurley, along with Jeffrey Fredericks, and other accomplices from the Holy Modal Rounder collective corrupted my musical tastes for a long time in the 1970's with 'Have Moicy'. I played the LP over and over, and even played it to my little sister - many years later I read some of the lyrics in full...!!! What damage I must have done!

Did Snocko tour in Britain and Ireland this year? I can't tell from the website whether he had planned to do so, or if it was a misleading rumour.

South Korean CD reissues certainly sound a bit iffy...

Did Dylan really say that? I can believe it somehow, having listened in wonder to his Theme Time Radio Hours, though I don't recall any Michael Hurley.

Michael Hurley is a rare genius; he's up there with Jim Eldon as the under appreciated soul of idiomatic folk; the pure drop! Must look into these editions - no mention of them over at Snocko News yet...

packaged in CD size reduction of the original LP jacket, with insert
