Where can I take my accordian at Whitby to learn something? I thought I might try May Cheadle's session, although I'm 'not quite ready' for a 'not quite ready for a session'.
Is there anything I've missed in the programme?

I'm sure you can learn something if you take an accordian to Whitby. Carrying it around will teach you how heavy it is and how many and how steep the hills are. ;@)
Quack!

How to make friends at Whitby FF. Take your new accordion into a session pub, sit right in the middle and play very loud. The other musos will love ya'. Alternatively, find a.n.other accordion player, buy them a drink and ask if you can play along. Ply them with lots of questions and lots more free drinks. As they get more drunk, your playing will start to sound much better to them, then everything is OK :)

Geoff I learnt that already.
Bought it last year and the seller & I met in the Pavillion. It is a smallish one, but by the time I'd got it back to Skinner Street I noticed the weight on my back.
Terrier, I always seem to play very loud. Haven't found the soft pedal yet.
