There are several songs called THIS OLD TOWN. The one you want is a bluegrass song written by Brad Apple (who has performed with his brother Brandon as The Apple Brothers).

It was recorded by Mike Auldridge, Richard Bennett, and Jimmy Gaudreau on their album "This Old Town" (Rebel CD 1758, 1999). I got this much from a sample at Allmusic.com. It was a bit hard to understand:

...bright lights of this old town.
I looked out upon the streets that ... as the shades of night fell down.
There was a time we loved each other in this old town.
Now those days have passed; ... too fast in this old ...
