Bob will be performing at the Sail, Power & Steam Museum in Rockland, Maine, USA on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 7 pm--cost $10. Duane D. & I plan to attend. Here's a link to Bob's schedule. I hope some of you can make it. Bob's a great performer & a great guy! He has several concerts in the Northeast around this time.

Thanks for posting this. The Sail, Power & Steam Museum in Rockland, Maine, is a new venue for folk style performers in this area and I hope this concert does well. There are also some great restaurants to dine at in Rockland.

Note: The schedule shows August 22 in Scarborough for the House Concert. It is August 21 in South Portland. LOL I have visions of a houseful of people and no Bob.

Charley, could you recommend some restaurants in the area? We were at the Lobster Fest yesterday & walked out to Breakwater Light, but ate at Moody's on the way back to Brunswick.

Mob wasn't too bad, Charley. Shuttle to the high school worked well. The festival wasn't all that much, though, as far as we were concerned. We probably won't go a second time.

Wow! The concert last night was great! Bob was warm, witty, & informative. He sang a lot of songs that welcomed singing along & played a wealth of instruments, among them hurdy-gurdy, concertinas, autoharp, didgeridoo, &, of cource, 6- & 12-string guitar & banjo! A joyful addition to the evening was the presence & involvement of Jeanne McDougall & Nick Apollonio. When they joined their instruments & voices with Bob's, it produced a heavenly harmony! We arrived early, left late, & were delighted to have been able to be there.

Th next scheduled concert for Zentz in Maine is this evening (Sunday, August 15)) at the Maine Maritime Museum in Bath, 7:30 pm, in Long Reach Hall.
