Indeed, i had a chat with him in the Waggon Inn talking about his days with the Beggermen etc. I must have played that Beggermen LP a thousand times when it first came out all those years ago, great and still have it. He came down to the Oddfellows in Middleton t'other week and sang 'The Jolly Beggerman', marvellous.
