On a number of occasions I heard the late Hamish Henderson sing a version of The Spanish Lady. It was very much a Scottish edition, and with the appropriate Henderson modicum of bawdry. I can remember only snatches of it, such as -

Madam, wad ye think it fittin'
Wad ye think it indiscreet
Madam wad it gie ye pleasure
Your wame an' mine tae meet?

followed by - "oh no, daid the lady..."

Does anyone have Hamish' version?
