in Ireland, Swedes are called Turnips, I am not sure what white turnips are called.yes defintely roots music

it is turnip against turnip.men and women children can all compete, in the throwing of the turnip.
there is also a pub talent competition,details on pub windows,not sure where it is tonight, could be one of either vincent coughlans,Sandboat,Rosies,or OBriens, Good idea is to have aglass in eac h bar to find out
final to be held in Irish Whip bar, monday august 17.

It sounds like an excellent festival. A busking competition sounds an improvement on the more usual jam-making.
