We all know about Old Wives Tales but how many modern beliefs could we put under the category of New Wives Tales?
Here's one for starters.
There seems to be a belief going around that it is bad to give a baby a bottle. When Anna was a baby we let her have a bottle when she wanted it and she voluntarily decided that it was too babyish when she was about three, and she didn't come to any harm.
Nowadays some Mothers seem to be taking the bottle away when the baby is around one year old. WHY???
