I recent saw Gordon Lightfoot at Stevens Center in Winston Salem NC and at Wolftrap in Vienna VA and will see him in Bristol VA in October... anybody seen him lately? If not do so soon before this world treasure
slips away or has to get off the road. He celebrated his 72nd birthday in November 2009 at Massey Hall in Toronto...fortunately my wife and I were able to go up...stayed at the Delta Chelsea (Highly Recommended!)
which is about three blocks from Massey Hall. Again...if the opportunity arises go see him...he still puts on a great show and the band (all been together since about 1985)members are all masters.
Peace, Sandy Creek

I've not seen him live but was shocked at the change when I recently looked at him on YouTube, considering the man I saw on some of the album covers.

I then realised that my albums were from the 60s and 70s.

Happens to us all. Bless 'im, because it was artists like him that prompted me to learn guitar.
