Mariner, try your local library they may have a copy of Wayne Jancik's book, that's where I found the book, and it does list, whenever known, what the said performer are doing now

Thanks but they seem just to list one hit wonders by the year. None of them say what became of these people .For instance, since my first post I've found out that Johnny Restivo became a Bed Salesman. So who knows what became of some of the hundreds of others who gave us ,mostly, 3 minutes of sheer Rock 'n' Roll magic ?. Just a passing thought

Oft times I hear a song from the past on the radio, often sung by one hit ,or few hit wonders. The thought often struck me, "What ever happened to him or her?. People like Johnny Restivo "The Shape I'm In" ,Bobby Freeman, "Do you Wanna Dance" , Jimmy Soul, "If you wanna be Happy" ,Jimmy Jones, "Handy Man" and countless others.I know many of the old Doo-Wop groups are still out there gigging, some with the original line ups. But what ever became of the solo artists like the ones mentioned above ?
