This festival takes place on the grounds of the Slater Mill and the neighboring Wilkinson Mill, both of which were powered by the Blackstone River. The Slater Mill site is part of the Blackstone River National Corridor and is considered the Birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution. This Festival is part of the larger Pawtucket Arts Festival. I plan to be at this and some other events. I hope other Mudcatters will join me.
